Demelza House Children’s Hospice provides a wide range of services to life-limited children and their families, including short residential breaks and day care at Demelza House in Sittingbourne, hospice at home care, and at a six-bedded unit at Eltham in south London.
Prospect Burma
Burma is one of the world’s most captivating countries – it also ruled by a military dictatorship with one of the worst human rights records. As a result, the country’s democratically elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi remains under house arrest almost two decades after elections that won her a landslide victory while, at the same time, a whole generation has been deprived of education. The effect on Burma’s future is incalculable. Prospect Burma is a non-political educational charity dedicated to supporting the education of exiled Burmese students.
