'THE KING OF POP' LIVES ON IN EASTER HOLIDAY PROGRAMMEE
A dance and music workshop saluting the career of the late Michael Jackson will form the centre-piece of Buckhurst Lane Sports Centre’s Easter holiday programme.
As part of a range of activities, local youngsters are being invited to learn some of the moves that made the American singer and dancer one of the most iconic names in modern entertainment.
Elsewhere, the programme features an introduction to “track and field” in an athletics masterclass for five to 13 year olds and a Teen and Family Gym session in which those of 12 years and over can try their hand at key pieces of fitness equipment such as the treadmill, cross-trainer and rower.
And the centre will be transformed into a mini Formula 1 track and filled with go-karts to enable the next Jenson Button or Lewis Hamilton to take pole position.
