SALUTING ‘THE KING OF POP’ AS EDENBRIDGE LEISURE CENTRE UNVEILS EASTER HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
A dance and music workshop saluting the career of the late Michael Jackson will form the centre-piece of Edenbridge Leisure Centre’s Easter holiday programme.
As part of a two-week calendar of sports, active pursuits, arts and crafts and performance workshops, local youngsters are being invited to learn some of the moves that made the American singer and dancer one of the most iconic names in modern entertainment.
Elsewhere, the choice on offer should be enough to keep even the most discerning youngster happy with everything from swimming courses, football and trampolining to belly dancing and roller skating. There will be a visit from Mr Topples Punch and Judy Show, an opportunity to try the martial art of Tae Kwon Do and a chance for the more creative to join an arts and crafts session.
Day Camps – long a popular feature of the Edenbridge Leisure Centre programme – will be back in both half- and full-day formats, providing opportunities to participate in a wide choice of activities. And the under fives get their own programme in a mix of soft play activities and sessions designed to build co-ordination, confidence and inter-personal skills in those of pre-school age.
The Easter holiday programme at Edenbridge Leisure Centre runs from April 2 to 19. For further details and to book activities call 01732 865665. The full programme can be downloaded by visiting www.sencio.org.uk
