WHITE OAK LEISURE CENTRE UNVEILS EASTER HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
White Oak Leisure Centre has unveiled its plans for a packed diary of activities this Easter holiday.
The two-week programme at the Swanley centre focuses on the popular blend of sports, active pursuits, arts and crafts and performance workshops.
Reinforcing its reputation as an important centre for swimming coaching, White Oak will host a series of four-day courses for the non-swimmer and improver as well as the development of skills on the diving board.
There is, of course, a suitably seasonal feel to the programme with a cookery session that will take Easter as its inspiration, an Easter-themed arts and crafts workshop as well as Erupting Easter Eggs – a sessions with a twist in which youngsters can make their own egg and then watch them (through a mix of simple chemistry) fizz into life.
Elsewhere, the choice on offer should be enough to keep even the most discerning youngster happy with everything from archery, cheerleading and street hockey through to Kiddie Go-Karts, trampolining and a visit from Mr Topples Punch and Judy Show.
The under fives get their own programme in a mix of soft play activities and sessions designed to build co-ordination, confidence and inter-personal skills, and White Oak’s day camps will again give parents the opportunity to plan school holiday child care.
The Easter holiday programme at White Oak Leisure Centre runs from April 2 to 19. For further details and to book activities call 01322 662188. The full programme can be downloaded by visiting www.sencio.org.uk
