MEERKATS MAKE A FAMILY VISIT TO RUXLEY MANOR A MUST – SIMPLES!
Meerkats, magicians and musicians take pride of place in the programme for Ruxley Manor Garden Centre’s annual family day out later this month.
The Sidcup business is one of the largest of its kind in Kent but it has also built an enviable reputation for creating and staging an imaginative diary of activities that informs, educates and – most importantly – entertains its younger customers.
“With a programme of events and activities throughout the year, Ruxley Manor has always tried to be much more than a garden centre,” says director James Evans. “We have a great passion for what we do and especially enjoy passing on our knowledge to visitors of all ages. This is our annual opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to our customers by staging a day of fun for all the family”.
Ruxley Manor will, once again, be transformed into a playground of entertainment, games and activities. And this year, the occasion will also see an appearance by some small mammals that have captured the imagination of consumers of all ages and spawned an advertising campaign that now has over 700,000 Facebook “friends”.
There is certainly something about the mannerisms and characteristics of the meerkat that enchants us and there will be a chance to see them when they journey to Ruxley Manor for the centre’s 2010 Family Day Out on Saturday June 19 between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm.
